ABOUT QUINLAN

Pianist and Teacher

A Massachusetts native, Quinlan is a professional pianist dedicated to spreading the joy of classical music and music learning to all. Quinlan is an established pianist and has performed across the country and Europe. Notable performances include Beethoven's 3rd Piano Concerto with the New York Concerti Sinfonietta, Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto in G minor with the New Texas Symphony Orchestra, as well as performances at Carnegie Hall. Quinlan is also the recipient of numerous awards and honors including First Place at the Nashville International Piano Competition and top prizes and Prokofiev special mention at IBLA Grand Prize in Sicily. He is also the recipient of the prestigious Texas Young Masters grant.

Quinlan's educational background includes instruction from some of the top artists of the classical music world. He attended Eastman School of Music to receive his Bachelor's degree studying with Van Cliburn winner Alexander Kobrin, before continuing his education at the University of Texas with Professor Anton Nel, receiving his Master of Music. Quinlan is currently pursuing his Doctoral degree in performance at Boston University under the guidance of Pavel Nersessian.
